Book ‘Make your Event ACCESSIBLE for Everyone’:
On September 13, 2018, I released my book ‘Maak je event toegankelijk voor iedereen’ in Dutch. Since then, I have often been asked if there was an English version. I am delighted and proud to answer ‘YES’ to that question. As of August 2023, the book ‘Make Your Event ACCESSIBLE for Everyone’ is available worldwide on Amazon in English.
The book stands out with its unique blend of examples, helpful tips and tricks, and simple, practical ways to make your event or venue more accessible for people with disabilities. My book is a guide for those who want to make a difference in the accessibility of their events or venues. It’s a fact that accessibility is still lacking in many places worldwide, and many people want to change this. My book helps these individuals make their events or venues more accessible. Often, when a location claims to be accessible, it only has a wheelchair-accessible toilet. But people don’t attend events just because of a toilet. They seek a full experience, whether it’s at events, festivals, theatre performances, museums, or other leisure activities.
